About the Guests:

In 2016 Rigel Walshe took on a contract as the program manager and facilitator for the Be Your Own Boss Course- a government program that teaches beneficiaries the basics of running a small business and writing a business plan. Successful participants receive government funding to enter self employment and start their own business.

In 2018, four years after stumbling across Bitcoin, Rigel decided to become a more active participant in the industry. He ran Coinsure Ltd for a year and a half as a distributor for Trezor, Ledger and Coinkite products in New Zealand whilst upskilling as a software developer. In early 2019 he took on his first role as a contractor for Dasset, an Auckland based Cryptocurrency exchange that is part of the Techemy group. His focus is on programming applications that interface with the Bitcoin base layer, primarily in Python.
